Soft-Core® Obturator
Soft-Core is a fast, easy, and safe root canal treatment system that is heated in a Soft-Core Heater before it is ready for use.
The Soft-Core Obturator consists of a biocompatible radiopaque plastic core surrounded by thermoplastic gutta-percha.
The removable handle is color-coded in conformity with ISO 6877. It has grooves in the handle which can be used as length markers. The handle can be easily broken after insertion when the gutta-percha has been set.
Available in sizes #20-60.
A size verifier with the same dimension as the obturator is available as an auxiliary instrument. The Size Verifier is used to ensure that the root canal is cleaned out well before root filling and that there is ample space for the selected size obturator.
